Marsha M. Peart, MD, MPH

Dr. Peart, a primary care doctor at UM St. Joseph Medical Center, specializes in family medicine and sees patients of all ages. Dr. Marsha Peart has special interests in adolescent mentoring as well as women's & children's health. She is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.

Dr. Peart has worked in healthcare in various clinical and medical roles since 2002; she began her career as a medical assistant at a hospital in Ecuador. She earned her medical degree, and a master's degree in medical technology, from SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Peart completed the Sister Rose Vincent Family Medicine Residency Program in Utica, NY. She attended a pediatric observership at Charles B. Rangel Community Health Center, in New York, NY.

Aside from her education and training, Dr. Peart has research experience in the areas of social determinants of health and reproductive health. Dr. Peart also has been dedicated to community outreach for many years, as a volunteer and mentor.

Outside of work, Dr. Peart enjoys cooking, reading and traveling.
