Linda Kyle Walker graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical School in 1982 and completed a pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital in 1985. She returned to the University of Mississippi in 1986 as Pediatric Chief Resident before beginning a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions which she completed in 1988. Dr. Walker maintains board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care, and has served as faculty at Johns Hopkins, Children's National Medical Center, Lehigh Valley Hospital and the University of Maryland Children's Hospital. While at Lehigh Valley Hospital she maintained adjunct faculty positions at Hershey Medical School and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Walker's research areas of interest include Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation, pediatric respiratory failure and medical devices. She is a member of AOA, AAP, ELSO and SCCM.
