Kyle Monroe Hatten, MD

Dr. Hatten was named a Top Doctor in the specialty of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Malignancies by Baltimore magazine in 2020.

Dr. Hatten is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Hatten was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hatten then went on to complete fellowship training in head and neck oncology, microvascular reconstruction, and robotic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Hatten’s practice focuses on the care of pediatric and adult patients with malignant and benign tumors of the head and neck including cancers of the oral cavity, pharynx, and larynx, tumors of the paranasal sinuses, tumors of the salivary glands, and cutaneous malignancies including melanoma of the head and neck.  Dr. Hatten is trained to perform open and endoscopic approaches for treatment of tumors of the skull base as well as complex reconstruction of head and neck defects using microvascular free flap techniques.

Dr. Hatten has a special interest in minimally invasive treatment of tumors of the throat utilizing TransOral Robotic Surgery(TORS).
