Dr. Erika D. Feller is a cardiovascular disease and ventricular support specialist based at the downtown Baltimore campus of the University of Maryland. After completing her undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Feller graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1998, completing her residency and fellowship in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. With more than 19 years of diverse clinical and research experience in both cardiology and internal medicine, Dr. Feller is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology in the University’s School of Medicine, and is the founder and medical director of the University’s nationally renowned Cardiac Transplant program. She is board certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Feller’s areas of clinical and research interest include acute heart failure, heart transplant immunology and ventricular assist device physiology, fields in which she is widely published. Dr. Feller lives in Baltimore with her family.
