UM CRMC Continues to Help Fight Food Insecurity

Susan Mudd Vogel (far left), executive director of Charles Regional Medical Center's (CRMC) Foundation, and Craig Renner (left), director of Marketing & Communications, present a second generous donation to the Southern Maryland Food Bank. This donation of $12,200, supported by grant funds from the Charles County Charitable Trust and No Kid Hungry, will help fund over 1,350 pantry bags, which can be used to make over 16,000 meals for school-aged children and their families. Since UM CRMC's first donation to the Food Bank in April, they have been able to provide approximately 20,000 meals to families in need during the pandemic.
