Kelly F. Moyer, MD

Dr. Moyer is dedicated to providing holistic treatment for her patients, recognizing unique complexities around each patient. With every clinical interaction, she seeks to understand the patient's perspective and personal goals for treatment. Dr. Moyer is committed to open communication with patients and working in partnership for treatment planning.

Her clinical interests include thyroid cancers, parathyroid adenomas, tumors of the head and neck and salivary disorders. She is trained in advanced pathology and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to treat these diseases.

Additionally, her research interests include airway management in thyroid disease and HPV-related squamous cell carcinoma.

She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a member of the American Head and Neck Society. Dr. Moyer received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She went on to complete residency training at Georgetown University and a Head and Neck Surgical Oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Through residency and fellowship, she specialized in surgical diseases of the thyroid and parathyroid, mucosal malignancies of the head and neck and salivary cancers.
