About Suliat Mayowa Nurudeen, MD

Dr. Suliat Mayowa Nurudeen is a breast surgical oncologist specializing in the treatment of both benign and malignant breast disease. She has a clinical interest in neoadjuvant breast cancer treatment and breast conserving therapies. She received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center through a joint BS/MD program at Texas A&M University. She went on to complete a general surgery residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. During her residency she also obtained a masters in public health with a focus in health policy and management at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She pursued additional training through a Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Nurudeen's research interests are in the area of patient engagement in clinical decision making and utilization of patient reported outcomes in determining breast cancer care quality.
