Dr. Michael Naslund is a professor of surgery and chief of the Division of Urology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia and chronic prostatitis.
Dr. Naslund received his Medical Degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed residencies in General Surgery and Urology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also received his MBA from the Wharton School of Finance.
Dr. Naslund has published more than 50 peer reviewed publications in addition to multiple book chapters and published abstracts. He has received research grant support from the NIH and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Dr. Naslund is a member of numerous prestigious medical societies, including the American Urological Association and the American Association of Clinical Urologists.
