The University of Maryland Medical Center offers residents and fellows the opportunity to learn from the most qualified neurological physicians.

As a leading East Coast stroke care provider, we train residents in the genetics of strokes as well as epilepsy, Alzheimer's and ALS research.

We are also a leader in neuropathic pain studies and developing approaches to ease pain.

With the expansion of our off-campus sites, our programs stress the importance of an increased community presence. Training at UMMC thoroughly prepares future physicians for careers in the academic field, private practice, or both.
