Jessica Elaine Mazzone, CRNP

Jessica Mazzone is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with Thoracic Surgery at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UM UCH). Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at West Virginia University and her Master’s degree as an acute care nurse practitioner at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. 

Before joining thoracic surgery at UM UCH, Jessica worked as a nurse practitioner in the hospitalist program at UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center where she was responsible for medication regimens, appropriate diagnostic and lab orders and addressing chronic and acute illness in an inpatient hospital setting. She also previously served as an acute care nurse practitioner in the transplant surgery department at University of Maryland Medical Center and as a registered nurse in the burn/trauma ICU at Washington Hospital Center. 

Jessica is the coordinator for the Center of Excellence, Lung Cancer Screening Program at UM Upper Chesapeake Health. She works closely with Shamus Carr, MD to deliver high quality and comprehensive thoracic care.
