Dr. Susan Dulkerian's special interests include neonatal transport, the potential impact of infectious diseases on a newborn's early life and outreach education.
Dr. Dulkerian has been recognized by Baltimore magazine as a "Top Doctor" in neonatology. She considers herself fortunate to work with a great group of neonatologists in caring for Maryland's smallest and sickest infants. "It is an honor and a privilege to play a part in an infant's recovery in an effort to get all babies home as soon as possible," Dr. Dulkerian says.
Dr. Dulkerian received her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. She completed her neonatal-perinatal fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
