About Me

A general internist and clinician educator, Dr. Yim has strong interest in chronic complex disease management and clinical residency teaching. She joined the faculty at University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1997. Currently, she is a clinical assistant professor of medicine. She works primarily in the outpatient setting.

In addition to working with her own patients, Dr. Yim enjoys teaching residents and students at two continuity clinic sites as well as in the inpatient general medicine service. She received the 2002 Ambulatory Teaching Award for Excellence in Teaching (General Internal Medicine) and the 2010 Ambulatory Medicine Faculty Teacher of the Year Award from UMSOM's Division of General Internal Medicine.
