Pediatric Inpatient Services
The Inpatient Pediatric (Hospitalist) Service offers state-of-the-art care for children and adolescents who require admission for all aspects of pediatric conditions. The child or adolescent is treated in a developmentally appropriate fashion with emphasis on synthesizing medical and psychosocial needs. Inpatient doctors work closely with the child life team, who understand the unique needs of kids.
Patient Conditions We Treat
We treat patients for a range of conditions including medical diseases, surgical disease and subspecialty diseases.
Evaluations and Treatments
We provide all applicable evaluations for the child or adolescent admitted to the hospital, including specialized treatments. We also provide medical management and psychosocial treatments.
Research Activities
Our physicians also conduct research on topics such as pediatric asthma, bronchiolitis and seizures.
