Midwives

UM Capital Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) are specially trained in all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology.

Our CNMs provide regular gynecologic and wellness exams, prenatal care, delivery services and postpartum care. 

CNMs serve as your coach and teacher to create the birthing experience you want and help you safely deliver a healthy baby. They also focus on educating new mothers on all aspects of infant care, breastfeeding, postpartum care and self-care.

Our CNMs are trained and licensed to operate independently to provide you with expert obstetric care and work hand-in-hand with UM Capital OB/GYNs and maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists should complications arise.

Our CNMs have birthing privileges at UM Capital Region Medical Center.
