Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Report

Pursuant to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), hospital facilities must perform a community health needs assessment every three years and adopt an implementation strategy to meet the community health needs identified. In collaboration with our community partners, University of Maryland Capital Region Health (UM Capital) last conducted a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment in 2022 to evaluate the heath needs of individuals living in Prince George's County.

The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) presents data and key factors impacting the health of Prince George's County residents.

UM Capital is conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment Survey. By taking a few minutes to complete these questions, you will help us identify the most important health needs in your community so that we can develop goals to meet them. The survey is available in English, Spanish, and French.
