David Sayre, M.D.
Medical School: University of Maryland School of Medicine
I was born and raised in Columbia, MD and attended University of Maryland, College Park for degrees in Biochemistry and Physiology/Neurobiology. After graduating, I moved to Baltimore and attended University of Maryland School of Medicine. I have absolutely fallen in love with Baltimore and love finding new places to grab a drink and a bite. My fiancé, Sam, and I live in a row house in Canton with our incredibly cute dog named Honey. My mother, a nurse of over 30 years, inspired me to become a physician and my older brother helped paved the way, becoming a doctor three years before me. When not working in the hospital I thoroughly enjoy cooking at home for friends and family, hiking and camping and spending ample time on the couch watching Netflix and Jeopardy. I have been interested in primary care and particularly preventative care since starting medical school. I have truly loved working with children and look forward to learning from my co-residents, attendings, students, patients and their families for many years to come.
