Daniel Tummillo, M.D.
Medical School: St. Louis University School of Medicine
I was born in Misawa, Japan; after living there for two years I moved along with my parents and older sister to Maryland. From there I was able to spend 19 wonderful years in Maryland, going to Ocean City, watching Cal Ripkin and Ray Lewis play, and of course eating plenty of CRABS. I attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County (caught Retriever Fever). While in undergrad I spent three years working at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute performing benchtop research on HIV. After so many years in Maryland I decided it was time to leave the nest and headed west to St. Louis for medical school. While I had a marvelous time in St. Louis my heart was always in Maryland so I was ecstatic to match at University of Maryland for my pediatrics residency.
In my spare time I like to travel (48/50 states), bake, read, play board games, watch the O’s and Ravens, and most of all hang out with friends.
