Why did you chose Maryland? When considering my rank list, the camaraderie among residents was incredibly important to me - going to work every day should be enjoyable. Also, the Shock Trauma experience on my sub-internship was very unique. I wanted elite trauma training whether I end up in that field or not. Another important factor was stable leadership who valued the opinion of the residents. I found all 3 at Maryland.
