Jess was raised in southern and northern California before attending NYU for undergrad. She originally majored in broadcast journalism and had plans to be a TV reporter. A number of things led her to medicine, and after a post-baccalaureate program at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, she was accepted to the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI where she met her significant other, Danny. The Match brought them to the University of Maryland, and she could not be happier! She currently lives in Hampden with Danny. Jess’s medical interests include transgender medicine, palliative medicine and transitional care. In her free time she enjoys continuing to explore Hampden and Baltimore (even though she has lived here for two years and counting!), eating, being active and watching gobs and gobs of TV and movies!
