Please note: All drives listed below will be held at the SMC Campus Center. All donors should bring their drivers license and proof of appointment.

New Donor Screening Question Related to the COVID Vaccine

The Red Cross is following FDA guidance for donors who have received the COVID-19 vaccination.

• All donors – vaccinated and unvaccinated – should continue wearing a well-fitted medical facemask during your appointment.
• If you have received your vaccine, please specify the manufacturer of your vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, or J&J) during your screening. Donors are encouraged but not required to bring a picture of their vaccine card to their appointment.
• There is no deferral time for individuals who have received the COVID-19 vaccine; however, all donors must be symptom-free and feeling well at the time of donation. 
• If you are experiencing any symptoms from the COVID-19 vaccine, the Red Cross recommends postponing your appointment until you are feeling better.
