Schedule Appointments and Tests

At UM Upper Chesapeake Health we offer many ways to schedule medical appointments and tests.

Scheduling With Our Patient Portal

Patients can schedule diagnostic tests and medical appointments directly through the Patient Portal. If you are a patient at UM Upper Chesapeake Health but not a portal user, sign up for the Patient Portal.

Once you are signed up, log in to the Patient Portal. In your portal, click on the 'Request Appointment' link on the right and follow the prompts.

Scheduling by Phone

If you are a new patient or would prefer to schedule by phone, please call 443-843-7000 or toll-free 800-301-4799 Monday through Friday: 8 am – 4:30 pm. New patients can also use Find a Doctor to choose a physician and use the phone number in their profile to contact the office directly.

Appointments for Imaging and Lab Tests

Most lab and imaging tests are done on a walk-in basis. However, there are several services for which you can request an appointment online and a few for which an appointment is required. You can schedule through your Patient Portal or through our online diagnostic test scheduling form.

Appointments required:

• Glucose tolerance test
• Therapeutic phlebotomy
• X-rays that require fluoro injections

Appointments available:

• Some X-rays
• MRI
• CT scans
• Ultrasounds
• Nuclear medicine
• Certain laboratory tests
• Pulmonary function tests
• Mammography and bone densitometry
