Mobile Crisis Team

A Mobile Crisis Team consists of mental health professionals dispatched to community locations to provide immediate assessment, intervention and treatment to people experiencing a psychiatric emergency. Mobile teams provide services wherever the person is located, such as home, work place, hospital emergency department. Teams work in partnership with other community resources such as the police, crisis intervention agencies, shelters and other groups.
