Rose Labriola Named Chief Nursing Officer
Rose Labriola has been named Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. Labriola, interim CNO since February, is an advocate for quality controls and patient safety, two key tenets of UM St. Joseph’s mission. Recognizing the clinical excellence the UM St. Joseph nursing staff offers every day, Labriola looks forward to leading them.
In prior positions, Labriola was interim CNO at several U. S. hospitals. Her responsibilities have included nursing and hospital operations, advanced practice nursing, clinics and nursing administration, home health, hospice, case management, and quality care initiatives.
Labriola received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Xavier University in Chicago and her Doctorate in Education from Northern Illinois University. She is a board-certified Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) and a member of various professional and community organizations.
