Senior Vice President of Operations
Robert A. Frank joined UM Shore Regional Health in November of 2014. With over three decades of experience in healthcare operations and financial management. Frank is a proven leader who brings expertise in program development, strategic planning, financial results turnaround, physician relations and team building to his duties as senior vice president of operations.
Prior to his arrival at UM SRH, Frank served as vice president and chief financial officer at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, West Virginia. Previously, he spent 32 years at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, starting as budget reimbursement analyst and finishing as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Frank has served as a member of the Family Hospice and Palliative Care Health Board of Directors, for which he was finance committee chairperson, and is currently a member of the Family Hospice and Palliative Care Institutional Advancement Board. He is a published author, has lectured on home care finance issues at national and state meetings, and was named CFO of the Year by Pittsburgh Business Times in 2005. Frank holds B.A,. M.P.A and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.
