Route 662 Detour

As of October 7, 2024, part of Maryland Route 662 has closed temporarily to facilitate the construction of the new UM Shore Regional Medical Center. Vehicles will be rerouted.

New Traffic Pattern

  • Closure: Route 662 (Longwoods Road) in Easton, from Airport Road on the south end to Hiners Lane on the north end
  • Detour: State Route 50 (Ocean Gateway)

This section is expected to reopen in May 2025.
