Following a nationwide search, Peggy Norton-Rosko, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, has been named Chief Nurse Executive for the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), an academic-focused system which employs more than 9,300 nurses, effective May 20th.
Tiffany M. Wiggins, MD, MPH, FACOG joined the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) in early March as Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer, bringing invaluable policy, public health, and clinical experience that will strengthen the System’s focus on advancing health equity in Maryland.
With a focus on maximizing operational efficiencies, the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) has signed a lease and broken ground on a 400,000 square-foot Logistics Operations Center (LOC) which will be built at the Tradepoint Atlantic complex in the Sparrows Point area of Baltimore County.
