Update Regarding Long Wait Times

Due to extremely high patient volumes and expanded safety precautions at UM Urgent Care, we are experiencing longer than usual wait times and reaching maximum capacity early in the day at many of our urgent care centers. Minimizing non-urgent visits can help ensure we are able to see and treat those most in need of urgent care. If you are not in need of in-person urgent medical care, we ask that you please consider making a telemedicine appointment with our providers. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911.

Because of the extremely high patient volumes, we may need to alter registering walk-in patients. If a center is no longer able to accept walk-in patients at any point in the day, a red banner will be displayed on that center’s location page. Please understand that the status at any center can change quickly given the current COVID-19 situation. Find your nearest locations page.

During this time, we ask that you do not call the center to ask about your registration status. Due to the high number of patients in our centers needing care, it is unlikely that our team members will be available to consistently answer the phone.

We appreciate your patience and kindness towards our physicians and team members who are working extremely hard to treat as many individuals in our communities as possible during these trying times. We hope to return to normal registration practices soon.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
