About Me
Ryan Barnes is a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner in family medicine. He specializes in adult primary care with a focus on physical and mental wellness.
His approach to medicine is grounded in shared-decision making and the collaborative relationship between patient and provider to determine health goals. He provides preventive care, health screenings and management of chronic conditions to help patients optimize their health.
In addition to caring for patients at UM BWMG Primary Care, he was commissioned into the Maryland Army National Guard in 2016 as a registered nurse and continues serving as a nurse practitioner.
