Robyn N. Lanasa, CRNP

Robyn Lanasa is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Her clinical interests are in preventative care and treating patients with coronary artery disease, valvular issues and heart rhythm problems.

After spending years caring for critically ill patients, and given her experience in cardiac care, Lanasa felt called to assist patients in her community by helping to educate them on and treat their cardiac disease and promoting changes for a healthier lifestyle.

Lanasa began her nursing career as an emergency department nurse. She then transitioned to the critical care arena, becoming a flight nurse for STAT Medevac and in the cardiac surgery intensive care unit at University of Maryland Medical Center. She has also spent time in surgical services. In addition, she worked as an emergency medical services liaison at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

Lanasa earned her Master of Science of Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Simmons University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from University of Maryland. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in emergency health from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

A native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Lanasa resides in Chester, Maryland, with her husband and dog.  She enjoying traveling, outdoor activities, working out, and spending time with her family and friends.
