As a physician, I prefer to help patients decide on their health care as part of a team, and I like providing information and advice, as needed, to guide them to make decisions that work for them in the place where they are in life now.

By the nature of this position, we as doctors are exposed to elements of the human condition that not many other professions have access to. No two people have the exact same circumstances in life, and I feel like everyone approaches their own health differently as a result. I keep that in mind when I help treat patients while keeping the results of research and guidelines in hand to provide the best care I can.
