About Me

Megan Lawless is a nurse practitioner. She specializes in treating patients for a number of gastrointestinal (GI) and liver conditions. She also provides counseling for colon cancer screening.

Lawless likes working together with patients to manage their conditions. She maintains a welcoming care environment in which patients can comfortably discuss their health concerns with her. "Patients should not feel embarrassed to talk about their GI symptoms. I proudly care for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions," she says.

Lawless was the recipient of the 2023 American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) Foundation Emerging Liver Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Award. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 2015.
