About Me
A senior nurse practitioner, Linda Ryan is a part of a multidisciplinary team that specializes in evaluating, treating and managing patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Ryan sees adult patients with IBD (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). She is a part of the IBD team in the Department of Gastroenterology/Medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center. Before transitioning into the gastroenterology field, she spent years in primary care and diabetes education.
Ryan provides compassionate, patient-centered, and inclusive care. "I want patients to feel their concerns are heard and that treatment options involve shared decision-making. I try to provide as much education during patient visits as possible," she says.
In her free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog. She also likes reading, taking long walks and visiting museums.
