Laura Beth Lewis, CRNP

An acute care nurse practitioner, Laura Lewis is part of the palliative care team at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health. She was a hospitalist at UM Upper Chesapeake Health prior to her current role.
 
While pursuing a career as a nurse practitioner and immediately following, Lewis worked in the areas of cardiac surgery, emergency care, and plastic and reconstructive surgery. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from York College in Pennsylvania. She began practicing in intensive care nursing at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center before pursuing a master’s degree at University of Maryland, Baltimore. She received her acute care nurse practitioner degree in 2010.
 
Lewis resides with her family in her native Harford County, Maryland.
