Dr. Brahim completed Dental School at Catholic University in Arequipa Peru, followed by training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an M.S at the University of Maryland Dental School and Hospital. He has worked at the National Institutes of health (NIH) for the last 24 years as their Senior Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, is credited with over 50 publications and has lectured internationally.
Dr. Brahim is also an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and serves as the director for the clinical research unit and the undergraduate program. He is devoted to teaching oral and maxillofacial surgery on the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Dr. Brahim practices the contemporary scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His clinical interests include dental alveolar surgery, wisdom teeth, dental implants, surgical management of the medical compromised patients and the development of clinical research.
