About Me

Fallon Bauer is a physician assistant with University of Maryland Shore Medical Group. She specializes in neurological care, treating patients for neurologic conditions such as stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), multiple sclerosis, migraines and neuropathy.

Medicine has been Bauer's passion for as long as she can remember. Initially, she wanted to be a medical researcher. However, she came to realize that a role in which she could make more of a human connection with people in need of care would be more fulfilling. After earning her undergraduate degree, she attended nursing school and went on to work as an ER nurse for three years. She then began her journey to becoming a physician assistant.

Since becoming a physician assistant, Bauer has approached patient care from the standpoint that all patients are different and no treatment plan is the same. She takes into consideration the whole patient, not just their ailment, when forming a plan to treat them. "I hope that my patients know I will do whatever it takes to help them in their time of need," Bauer says.
