Dr. Wolfsthal is a general internist who provides primary care for adults in the ambulatory area. She cares for a broad spectrum of patients from preventive health care to complex internal medicine conditions. Her main focus is teaching and administration.
Dr. Wolfsthal is a master educator, having led educational activities for medical students and residents as the associate chair for education in the Department of Medicine for 30 years. She oversees over 150 residents in various internal medicine tracks, develops curricula, offers faculty development resources and provides mentoring across the spectrum from medical student to faculty member.
