Shoshana J. Weiner, MD

Dr. Weiner chose a career in primary care since she enjoys forming long-term relationships with patients and helping patients with any health care concerns that arise. 

She tries to understand the health goals and priorities of her patients so that treatment plans can best fit an individual’s needs.  In our current complicated health care environment, she finds it important to be able to help her patients navigate their care and coordinate with specialists.  

After spending two years practicing primary care in the community at Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Weiner moved to the University of Maryland where she is able to both maintain her own practice while also having the opportunity to work with medical students and residents in clinical and research activities.
