About Me
Dr. Fiero practices pulmonary medicine, focusing on diagnosing and treating diseases of the lungs and respiratory system. He provides pulmonary care to adult patients for all types of breathing and sleeping problems.
After his medical training, Dr. Fiero served as a professor of medicine — teaching medical students, doing research and directing sleep centers — at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then entered private practice, first in Indiana and then in Virginia, for over 20 years.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Fiero is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and American Board of Sleep Medicine. In his free time away from patient care, he enjoys spending time with his family.
