Philip J Nivatpumin, MD, received his ScB in Biology from Brown University and his MD at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha.
He completed his internship, residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also spent one year there as a chief resident on the Osler Medical Service.
Dr. Phil is the Medical Director of the Kaufman Cancer Center, where he supervises the delivery of cancer care at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health.
He enjoys martial arts, yoga, and clean eating. He is especially interested in lifestyle modification as a means of psychological, physical and spiritual healing. He is board certified in internal medicine, adult hematology, and medical oncology.
