About Me
Dr. Jakhete is an assistant professor of medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency and subspecialty fellowship training in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has clinical expertise in viral hepatitis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, liver cancer and cirrhosis of the liver. Dr. Jakhete published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters during her training. She is an active member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) and the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).
