Dr. Drossner specializes in coronary angioplasty (opening of clogged heart arteries) and stent implantation. He also specializes in closure of a patent foramen ovale, a hole in the heart that did not close the way it should after birth, and cardiac catheterization.
Dr. Drossner received his medical training at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his fellowship training in cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He was named a “Top Doctor” in the field of interventional cardiology by Baltimore magazine in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021.
