A surgical oncologist, Dr. Davis specializes in the care of patients with complex and rare cancers of the digestive tract and other abdominal organs. He performs operations on the stomach, liver, pancreas and intestines using traditional and minimally invasive techniques.

Patients choose Dr. Davis because of his commitment to providing patient-centered care and high-quality cancer treatment. At the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, he provides care as part of multidisciplinary team of experts. A recognized leader in the care of patients with stomach (gastric) cancer, he has received numerous awards, including the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Director's Award in 2020.

Dr. Davis is internationally recognized as a leader in the management of people with hereditary gastric and lobular breast cancers.
