Dr. Aldrich joined the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Maryland in 1993 after six years in Texas on the faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Dr. Aldrich's areas of interest include cerebrovascular surgery, brain and pituitary tumor surgery, cervical spine surgery and general neurosurgery. He is an expert on the treatment of ruptured and non-ruptured aneurysms.
Educated in South Africa at the University of the Orange Free State, this is also where he trained and later served on the faculty.
