About Me
Dr. Gothong sees patients at UM Shore Medical Pavilions at Cambridge and Denton, and also in the Medical Office Building at UM Shore Medical Center at Chestertown.
Dr. Gothong came to Shore Medical Group after completing a residency in internal medicine at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and a fellowship in endocrinology at University of Maryland Medical Center. She earned her B.S. degree, in psychology, from Ateneo de Manila University in Manila, Philippines, and her M.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, also in Manila. Her certifications include the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
In addition to participating in multiple clinical trials and research studies related to diabetes treatment, Dr. Gothong has published articles and lectured on a wide array of endocrinology topics. She is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Endocrine Society, the American College of Physicians and the Philippine Medical Association.
