About Me
As a hematologist/oncologist, Dr. Poudyal treats patients for various conditions, including anemia, leukemias and other blood disorders, and solid cancers (e.g., lung cancer, stomach cancer and colon cancer).
"My focus is always on my patients and how much they understand what is going on and how they can navigate what they are going through," he says. "They want to be treated just like you want you to be treated when you are sick."
Prior to joining Upper Chesapeake Hematology Oncology, Dr. Poudyal was a hospitalist at Reading Hospital in Pennsylvania. He has served as a volunteer physician in several rural health camps in Nepal.
