Anna J. Diller, MD

Dr. Adamson's focus is always on improving patients' quality of life and providing comprehensive support to patients dealing with serious, chronic and/or advanced illnesses as well as their families.

Dr. Adamson is medical director of palliative care at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health. Born and raised on a cattle ranch in Texas, she attended Texas A&M University (College Station, Texas), where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She attended the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, earning her master's degree with Delta Omega honors, and the John Hopkins Carey Business School, earning a Master of Business Administration degree. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, did her internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and completed a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

In her free time, Dr. Adamson enjoys baking, traveling and game nights.
