A cardiologist, Dr. Peruri treats the full spectrum of conditions of the heart and cardiovascular system. He uses his non-invasive imaging skills to bring insight into patient care.

Regarding his background in vascular medicine, Dr. Peruri has experience with:

  • Anticoagulation (treatment to reduce the risk of blood clots)
  • Fibromuscular dysplasia (abnormal development or growth of cells in the walls of arteries) and other arteriopathies
  • Peripheral arterial disease (common condition in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the arms or legs)
  • Pulmonary embolism response teams
  • Venous thromboembolism (condition that occurs when a blood clot forms in a vein)

Dr. Peruri is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, Society of Vascular Medicine, Heart Failure Society of America and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family.

  • Dr. Peruri is excellent. Listened to my history. Discussed plans and rationals with me.

  • He followed up with results of lab tests as he said he would. I usually have to MyChart if I have concerns about abnormal results.

  • Dr. Peruri is very knowledgeable, well prepared, and responsive. From the beginning, he has been very kind to me and my family.

  • This was my first visit with doctor and was very impressed. He listened and let my wife explain all of our history and issues. He suggested things and explained in a way we could understand. We had a lot to tell and he paid attention and was very concerned as to what we had to say. He genuinely took his time with us and explained what was ahead.
