Baltimore Convention Center Field Hospital

The Baltimore Convention Center Field Hospital (BCCFH) began admitting patients on April 27, and since then more than 95 patients have received care in this 250-bed, state-licensed hospital operated jointly by the University of Maryland Medical System UMMS) and Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH).

For Consumers

If you believe you have COVID and are in need of medical attention, please contact your healthcare provider directly. If you do not have a healthcare provider, you may call UMMS Nurse Call Line to discuss coronavirus symptoms and testing.

For Healthcare Providers

If you are a healthcare provider looking for criteria to determine if a patient may be transferred to the BCCFH, please visit BCCFH – For Healthcare Providers

Staffing and Management

External medical professionals and health care workers hired by UMMS and JHM staff the BCCFH to ensure that the combined crisis response will not reduce staff at local health care facilities.

Both organizations will continue to plan for an increase in volumes while working as a system to ensure all patients receive the care and attention needed.
