COVID Testing at State Center
The BCCFH COVID Task Force operates a COVID testing location at State Center. It offers:
- PCR tests - Results are available generally within 24-72 hours.
- Rapid antigen testing - Results are available generally within 1-2 hours.
- Home rapid test kits - These tests (1 per person) as well as KN-95 masks (2 per person) are available to the public on a walk-up basis at the exit on the east side of the State Center COVID testing/vaccination facility.
You may also order free home test kits from covidtests.gov. Each home in the United States is eligible to receive tests kits through the mail.
Getting Here: For location, hours, holiday and weather closures, parking and public transit information, visit our BCCFH at State Center page.

Getting COVID Treatment During Your Testing Visit
If you are feeling sick when you come to State Center for your test and your rapid test is positive, you may be able to get treated at our testing site through our Test to Treat Program.
If you qualify for treatment, a medical provider will evaluate you on-site to determine which treatment is best for you, including giving you oral medications to take at home or scheduling you for an infusion treatment at our infusion center on the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) Downtown Campus.
If you think you might need treatment while you are being tested at State Center, please read about our Test to Treat Program to learn how it works and what to bring with you.
Important Note: If you have tested positive already — either at home or at another testing site — do not come to State Center for treatment. Instead, complete a self-referral form to be considered for a telehealth visit, which is free to patients. Learn more about COVID telehealth visits.
