Childrens hematology patient

UM Children’s Hospital pediatric hematology team will evaluate, diagnose and treat childhood blood conditions. Our patients range in age from infancy to young adulthood.

Our specialists are experienced in treating a long list of blood-related conditions and issues. If you have concerns about your child's abnormal blood tests or your child has complications with an existing condition, we can help.

Choose UM Children's for Hematology Treatment

We’re one of the only centers in the country that combines hematology with genetics. Patients and their families can be evaluated by a hematologist, geneticist and genetic counselor for inherited – and sometimes very rare – blood disorders. We discuss the family’s best options for treatment and care, based on the team’s findings.

Our team approach to treating children provides a thorough treatment plan and excellent communication with the child’s primary care doctor.
